I am aware of the nature of my craft and art. And there was a point when I had been mistaken in thinking that photographers merely capture what is already there - that we are not creators but rather recorders of events. If only people knew of the transformation that these images took to reach the point when the photographer can sit back and say enough, then they will understand when I say photography is art in its fullest sense. I got the images two nights ago from my Petri 1.9 and fell in love with them immediately.  The pictures have a different feel to it.  I have to admit that without a light meter and making do with pure judgment based on the flaps you find at the ends of film cartons, taking pictures was extremely difficult and I can't help but feel paranoid at every press of the shutter button. The camera had been in storage for the most part of twenty years.  I had it serviced, cleaned and undergone some cosmetic face lift a few months ago.  For all I know, it could be suffering from some serious light leak or intermittent leaf shutter sticking.  The only wa
